Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
Nancy Wilson, a jazz singer and three-time Grammy Award winner was born in Ohio, Chillicothe 20 February 1937, to Olden Wilson, an ironworker who was employed for a lengthy period as housekeeper. Nancy was the oldest of six kids. Nancy's father was an avid music lover and played records with his children at home. This had a great influence in her early years. At just 4 year old, she realized she would be a singer. She developed her talent by her involvement in the church choir. She won a TV-talent show in her 15th year and then began appearing regularly on the Tv show Skyline Melodies while still in high school. At the same age she started working in nightclubs. When she graduated from high school, at the age of 17, Nancy was enrolled for a year at Ohio's Central State College now Central State University before leaving and becoming a professional performer. In 1956 she made her first album with Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band. They toured together throughout 1956 until 1958. Nancy's first Dot Records recording was made while she was in the Big Band of Carolyn Club. Cannonball advised her to move to New York and go to The Big Town to further her singing career. Within a month she got a job singing at The Blue Morocco Night Club on Boston Road in The Bronx the place where her agent heard her and signed her. Agent Adderley signed her to Capitol in 1960. Her debut was that year. Guess who I saw today. Capitol Records released 5 Nancy Wilson albums over a two-year period. Initially focusing on rhythm and blues, under the influence of Adderley, she shifted away from R&B and began to embrace the torch and jazz genres. Their collaboration in 1962 with Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley was instrumental in propelling her to the top and she had her breakout hit Tell Me the Truth in 1963. The singer was offered a position in New York's Coconut Grove nightclub, America's top nightclub.
Maisie is a British television and film actress. She played the lead character in Chloe Winthrop, in Netflix's film The Kissing Booth. She also starred in an important role on The ABC Biblical series Of Kings and Prophets as King Saul of Israel's daughter Michal. Also, she has appeared on numerous popular TV programs, such as The Originals and Legends of Tomorrow. Birth & Family Maisie Richardson-Sellers was born the 2nd of March in England, United Kingdom. She is the daughter of Joy Richardson. She completed her schooling in an exclusive school, and then completed her graduation from Oxford University. University of Oxford. Her degree was of Archaeology/Anthropology. Maisie started her acting career with a short film in 2012. Our First World. Ellie was the character she played in the short film of 2013 Americano and Rum. In 2013, she appeared in the film as Korr Sella as Korr Sella, Short Wars: Forces Awakening in 2015. She then appeared in the Netflix Original Film The Kissing Booth Season 2 in the role of Chloe Winthrop.
