Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th of October 1992) is an Indian actress. She has a prominent role as a character in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. She was awarded the National Film Award for Best Actress in the role of the role of actress Savitri in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). She has also received three SIIMA Awards and a Filmfare Award South. Keerthy Kumar is the child of filmmaker G. Suresh Kumar, and actor Menaka G. Suresh. At the beginning of 2000, she began as a young actress. After completing her studies in fashion design, Keerthy returned to the world of film. She played her first major part on screen in Geethaanjali (2013), which was a Malayalam feature film. She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy began the first of her Malayalam projects and also started working in Tamil in parallel. The first film she acted in came in A. L. Vijay's romantic comedic Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) with Vikram Prabhu. However, the film did not perform well in the theater. Her busy schedule throughout 2015 led her decide to pull out of projects that she was making, such as Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye and Deekay's Kavalai Vendam, to be able to take on bigger projects. The actress was in two films that came out in quick succession, with Sivakarthikeyan, Rajini Murugan & Remo. Dhanush was also an actor of note on Prabhu's Thodari. In 2015, the film was delayed. Reports indicate that Janakitho Nenu is expected to debut in September 2020. Nenu Sailaja (2016), featuring Ram Pothineni as the actor was the debut film of Keerthy's.
