Jill AND Mary

Jillian Hernely, born Noel Hennely in December 1968. She is a highly accomplished Canadian singer and actress with a notable contribution to American television. She was the main character in the American popular television show Law & Order, where she amused viewers with her role as prosecutor Claire Kincaid for three years. In Crossing Jordan she played Jordan Cavanaugh during six seasons. Hennessy is also a shining example of her talents as an actor in films such as RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the independently produced films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class, where she also worked on her scriptwriting and co-directing muscles. Hennessy began her acting career alongside her sister who played twin call-girls on Dead Ringers in 1988. The actress starred as a character on Broadway in the musical Buddy The Buddy Holly Story in 1990. The Buddy Holly Story in 1990 and stepped into the sci-fi world in 1993 playing her character Dr. Marie Lazarus in RoboCop 3. In the same year, she was appointed assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid in the hit NBC Crime Drama Law & Order. In three seasons, her role proved to be a huge hit with audiences. The show ended in 1996. Parker has appeared in films that included RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side, West Wing Angels In America along with Boys on the Side. She received the Golden Globe Award and Emmy Award for her work in these television series. Parker received the Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her character in Proof on Broadway.
